Personally I think these age players would be better staying than being seduced by the money and glamour of Bayern or Barca and being in another country with dozens if not 100’s of 16yo’s. If he develops he is more likely to be in our first team than theirs at 18 and can take it from there. Slightly different with players like Sancho and the kid from Birmingham who is going to Dortmund if they are physically ready to play in the first team

What Sven said.
Not sure what a club like ours can do when one of the best teams in the world comes sniffing around you if the player is under 17.

The system doesn’t allow clubs to tie youngsters to professional contracts til they are 17 so everyone is vulnerable to having others pick off talented players.
Plus after Jadon Sancho everyone thinks going to Germany is the route to take. Forgetting about the likes of Oxford & Lookman

Bayern Munich closing in on West Ham United’s Benicio Baker-Boaitey
According to The Sun, West Ham United teenage winger Benicio Baker-Boaitey is set to join Bayern Munich in the coming days.
The 16-year-old will not be signing a professional deal with the London Stadium outfit when he turns 17 in January as he is set to move on instead.
Baker-Boaitey is off to Germany this week for talks with the Bundesliga giants while another Champions League club have invited him to come inspect their facilities as they look to convince him.
West Ham will have to settle for a £230,000 training compensation fees in what is set to be a major blow.
Manchester United, Liverpool and Paris Saint-Germain have all sent scouts to watch the teenage winger, but it’s Bayern that appear to have won the race for his signature.
Baker-Boaitey has been with the Hammers since his schoolboy days, but he no longer sees his future at the club and is keen to join the English kids moving abroad to ply their trades.
He began his youth career at Queens Park Rangers before joining West Ham and making his debut for the under-18s just after turning 15.
RB Leipzig and Barcelona have also been linked with Baker-Boaitey, and the Hammers just didn’t have a chance of holding on to the England youth international given the type of clubs he was starting to attract.

No news is good news! Or it's No News. You KNOW, by now that WHUFC are rubbish at PR.
Phone the club? Post on their Instagrams?

Oh, I thought it may hook you up with a date. Of departure or existing contract run.
But maybe not so here. It doesn't generally cover schoolboy age. Pro contracts only.

Hugheyed,
Kemp is contracted to West Ham United until Jun 2021. He spent the sedond half of this season at Stevenage but, regrettably, could not stop them being bottom of League 2 and thus relegated. 6 games, 1 goal.
So, there's no news to report. Unless another club wants to buy his services. He will be a West Ham U23 player next season. Unless another loan is arranged.
How did I get such insight? I looked on the internet.
PS: He is now 21. I don't recall headlines when left Chelsea Academy to join WUFHC aged 16. I could be wrong though.
